Course Description:

Students dig deep into the engineering design process, applying math, science, and engineering standards to hands-on projects. They work both individually and in teams to design solutions to a variety of problems using 3D modeling software, and use an engineering notebook to document their work.

Taught by: Dan Longo and Joshua Botteicher

Class after: Digital Electronics

Prerequisite: Must be completing college level sequence of math and science

Student Perspectives:

Zack Washington: I took the class because I would like to be an engineer. The class is tons of fun. My favorite project was the glider/ cable car.

Kyle Konicki I took the class to help my want to become an engineer. The class is loads of fun and would recommend to take this freshman year. You spend your time analyzing geometric figures and perfecting engineering skills.

Brett Pagett: I took the class to get the exposure for the skills in the field. It’s a great class and lots of fun. Strongly recommend to take as soon as possible.
